The OC Carlson Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA Academy is directed by Master Carlson Gracie's black belt Troy Acker. Troy is a member of elite black belts promoted by Carlson Garcie Jr, son of Master Carlson “The Godfather of BJJ, MMA” Gracie. Troy has been training in Brazilain Jiu-Jitsu since 1994.

Troy started with martial arts at a young age. He is the only Carlson Gracie black belt teaching in Orange County, California. Having made several apperances in cage fighting, he is also an accomplished Mixed Martial Arts fighter.

While Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) schools in Orange County have open and close over the years, this school has remained the leader for fourteen years.
